It is typically composed of a mixture of small, cleaved follicle center cells referred to as centrocytes and large noncleaved follicular center cells referred to as centroblasts.Histologic transformation to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) occurs at a rate of about 3% per year.
