Upper  panel  shows  the  presence  of  a  CD45-/CD138+  population.  Gating  for  this  population  (R1)  with  evaluation  for  cytoplasmic  kappa  and  lambda  light  chains  indicates  that  plasma  cells  express  monoclonal  kappa  light  chains.
