AB Breast  cancer  is  considered  "localized"  if  it  is  technically  possible  to  excise  cancerous  tissue,  if  the  tumor  does  not  involve  the  skin  or  structures  deep  to  the  breast,  and  if  the  tumor  has  not  metastasized  beyond  the  axillary  or  internal  mammary  lymph  nodes.
