AB The  most  common  lymphoid  malignancies  are  discussed  in  Chap.  16,  myeloid  leukemias  in  Chaps.  14and15,  myelodysplastic  syndromes  in  Chap.  11,  and  myeloproliferative  syndromes  in  Chap.  13.  This  chapter  will  focus  on  the  more  unusual  forms  of  hematologic  malignancy.  The  diseases  discussed  here  are  listed  in  Table  17-1.  Each  of  these  entities  accounts  for  less  than  1%  of  hematologic  neoplasms.
